Bree is an exceptional breeder!
After engaging with countless breeders and being on several waitlists over the course of nine months, we finally found our perfect mini bernedoodle puppy at Hilltop.
From the very first email to the moment we picked up our puppy, it was always clear that Bree is very genuine in providing the most pleasant experience any prospective dog owner can ask for... especially for first time dog owners.
Expectations and communications were always clear and honest, and finding the puppy that best suits our needs and preferences was always the number one priority. She was very transparent with health records, pedigree information, and what to expect as a new Berne parent.
From our perspective, the 'exceptional' part of the experience was the dedication in ensuring the process of welcoming a new puppy home was as stress free as possible. Winston (what we named our new puppy) came home pretty much potty trained, responds to his name 99% of the time, already accustomed to car rides, was comfortable being in the crate, and was not timid. We really appreciate the amount of work Bree did up front, allowing us to only focus on the joy of bringing a new puppy home.

"Where to even start about how AMAZING our journey with Hilltop Bernedoodles has been? My wife and I had been looking to add a dog to our growing family for a while, and after much research we found Jon and Bree at Hilltop. From the moment we reached out, Jon and Bree were warm, transparent, and informative about the entire adoption process and what to expect when bringing a Bernedoodle puppy into your life. From the moment we excitedly said "YES!", we received regular updates on the status of the litter (all the way from "how mama is doing" during pregnancy, to videos of the pups after being born, to frequent pictures of their progress, etc.) and Jon and Bree were ready and eager to answer any questions we had. It's apparent both through meeting them at their lovely home and their approach with their "future pet parents" that Jon and Bree lead with love and care deeply about their family and dogs; that absolutely comes through in those puppies! We have been over the moon since our Hilltop puppy Rosco has joined our family, and felt confident training and transitioning those first few nights and weeks having the support of Jon and Bree. Rosco and our young son have quickly become best friends and our home feels that much more full having him around. If you're considering adding a dog to your family, you'd be hard pressed to find a better breeder than Hilltop Bernedoodles. We've already recommended them to our family and friends!"

"From the first point of communication with the Little family we knew we were in good hands. Bree was communicative every step of the way which made the process smooth and extremely pleasant. We had never owned a puppy before so had a lot to learn! The weekly pictures, videos and updates leading up to our visit helped us get to know the puppies and the Little family. Bree answered all of our questions (and still does!) without hesitation, and from an honest and knowledgeable viewpoint. She loves her dogs beyond measure! We can not say enough good things about our experience with Hilltop Bernedoodles. The day we went to pick up our puppy she went above and beyond to help us surprise our kids. She had Juno in a basket with a bow while John filmed the entire event. I can’t imagine finding another breeder that cares more than Bree. We love our Zoe (formerly Juno) and the Little family! "Our amazing pup could not have come from a better place! From day 1 of our pup’s life, Bree and Jon were in regular communication with updates about what new developmental skill the pup was gaining. Their updates always included photos of the litter being cared for by everyone in the family, in a home setting. We could not have asked for better communication in a breeder!

Bree and Jon welcomed us to their home to meet the pups when they were born and we visited again when we knew which pup would be ours. Our Sora arrived at our home already accustomed to being handled and was house broken in no time!

"My experience working with Bree and Jon Little was truly a unique experience that was meant to be. In August 2020, my 14-year-old Fur baby "Jake" crossed the rainbow bridge, and left an empty spot in my life and heart that could only be filled by another canine companion.
I chose a bernedoodle based on their predisposed low energy levels, great with family/children, low shed and hypoallergenic coat. Additionally, I was ready for the experience of owning a bigger dog and loved the tri-coloring of the Bernese Mountain dog.
After Christmas 2020, I knew I was ready to find my new fur baby, and found Bree and Jon Little and Hilltop Bernedoodles out of Onalaska, WA.  I wrote expressing my interest, and Bree responded promptly and was very professional.  She mentioned I was quite a few places down the list, but was welcome to contact her for progress reports on Lilo (expecting Bernese mama), until the babies were born and new owners were determined.  For me, this was an exciting event to follow and be a part of, and I did contact her for updates on the mom and pups.  After the birth of three pups, and some drop offs from the list, the old adage of "when it's meant to be it will happen" came true for me, and I had a new fur baby.  Bree was amazing and kept me updated on progress reports, pictures, videos of the pups, every week until I was able to take home my little boy, Bentley.  I was able to visit the pups at 5 weeks, to meet Jon, Bree, their family, plus mama Lilo and dad Henry of the pups.  This was a valuable experience for me to see the parents and their disposition. Even after bringing Bentley home, Bree was there with advice and guidance, if I needed it, and I appreciated it, being this was my first time with a 7week old pup.  I am very happy with my new fur baby, he is the greatest pup ever."
