If you want to adopt, we ask that you follow this process:
How much do your puppies cost?
How does puppy selection work?
What is a Mini Bernedoodle?
A Mini Bernedoodle is a cross between a miniature poodle and a Bernese mountain dog. Mini Bernedoodles range from 18 - 65 pounds and our average is 24 - 36 pounds.
How long is a dog pregnant?
Gestation period for dogs is 61-65 days
When are puppies ready to go to their forever homes?
Puppy selection occurs about 4 to 6 weeks, and take home is usually when the pups are 8 weeks old.
How does puppy selection work?
We notify you that puppy selection has started and you will get 24 to 48 hours (depending on litter size) to make a selection.
Will our puppy come microchipped, wormed & vaccinated?
The short answer is yes. Your puppy will be microchipped and have had its first set of vaccinations. They will have been wormed several times. Additional vaccinations will be your responsibility.
How do you raise them?
We use BAB (Bad Ass Breeder) puppy curriculum and use ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation). We love what we do and we love on our puppies, each and every day.
What is litter box training?
Your puppy will be litter-box trained. It will be used to going poo & pee in the litter. The litter sticks to the poo so it does not get tracked around on their paws like it would if the puppy used a pee pad. The litter box replaces pee pads but does NOT replace you taking your puppy outside to go pee & poo. You will still need to take your puppy outside to teach him to go potty outside.
Do we need to continue crate training?
Your puppy will be used to sleeping in a crate with a litter box at the back of the crate. This will make potty training much easier and you will not have to get up in the middle of the night to let the puppy out to go pee. When your puppy stops using the litter at night, it is time to remove the litter box. We strongly encourage you to continue crate training for many reasons. Dogs usually love to go into their crates as long as they are not "over crated".
Do you offer health guarantees?
We offer a one-year health guarantee against any genetic or congenital disorder that adversely affects the health of your puppy. We do not offer a health guarantee on anything contagious that a puppy can contract as soon as they leave our care or can be caused by stress. This includes, but is not limited to: Parvo, coccidia, giardia, round worms, tape worms, hook worms, or any illness that can be brought on or caused by stress, virus or bacteria. Our contract has more details.
What should I feed my puppy?
We recently switched to Next Level dog food after trying a few dry kibbles, but there are dozens of excellent options, including home-made recipes, refrigerated meat, dehydrated feed, and dry kibble. We strongly urge you to avoid cheap kibble, however.
